23/8/15 - Well I am finally due to re-start working after another bout of illness (diabetes this time). My muscle tone is returning and I can grip a brush and pencil better and you can no longer read a newspaper through the palm of my hand, so some new stuff is imminent.

Sunday, 12 April 2015

12/4/15 - Time to get back to it after my exhibition, can't rest too long on my laurels. Here's a picture done over 4 nights of Niall McGuinness, taken from the cult film Night of the Demon, done in pencil and graphite.

3/1/15 - After the rigours of Christmas I've just got a couple of pieces finished, both are pencil drawings, with one being a scene from Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge from the 1940's and the other a more gothic piece, again in the style of Laurie Lipton.

18/10/14 - After sorting out the gruesome business of another trip to hospital I've got down to a bit more work. This piece is of Wattie Buchan the lead singer of the band The Exploited, done in just black and white acrylics I think I can safely say it is probably the best piece of work I've done.

22/9/14 - Just got some pics back from the printers, Joe Strummer of the Clash, John Lydon and Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler, haven't come out too bad.

21/9/14 - Got back from a short break in the Lake District on Monday, away for a few days before my next spell in hospital. Stayed at The Oddfellows Arms in Caldbeck, very nice, peaceful and quiet with top notch service from all concerned, would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet break. Got some nice photographs which I'm hoping to start on shortly.
