15/4/14 - Here are two more finished pieces, lots on the go at present, beginning another while one is drying, no peace for the wicked. The first is a Steampunk reproduction of a skeleton at work, done in pencil/graphite and is playing card sized, while the secon is an acrylic from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original and still the best version with Gunnar Hansen and his chainsaw.

2/4/14 - This is the first two completed miniatures, one of the classic Michael Caine pose from probably my all time favourite film Get Carter (even if he did throw Coronation Street's Alf Roberts off the top of a multi storey car park - scandolous) and the second is of Nick Cave of the Bad Seeds fame. Still have plenty on the go, including a Laurel and Hardy which will probably be the next one completed.

31/3/14 - This is the few pieces of pyrography i've been working on, Baphomet the devil, Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre,'Death is only the beginning'' in Egyptian hieroglyphics on a bangle and a Nosferatu trinket box. The next work is some miniature canvases, Day of the Dead, Steampunk and sillouhettes (I think that's spelt correctly) and stuff like that in acrylics but it's hard going on the eyes, long overdue an eye test.

26/3/14 - Here's another World War 1 pencil drawing complete in miniature form and also there will be some more pyrography items to show, they are being varnished at present.

Some new work and new ideas

24/3/14 - Well here is a small watercolour picture just completed of a rodeo rider. I've also turned my hand to pyrography. Well I thought how hard could it be? I've used a soldering iron constantly at work and am able to use a pencil and i'm quite pleased with the results.



28/2/14 - Well after a long lay-off here is some of the work i've been doing while i've been recouperating, a lot of different stuff done in pencil mainly. I've also resumed my watercolour painting by enrolling in a class to refresh what I know and learn a great deal more, it's been run by Katherine Harrison who is an excellent teacher and very easy to get along with. Some examples will follow shortly(hopefully).
