12/6/11-Just a smallish picture completed here, been promising to try some horse racing pictures for a while and here's one from this years Cheltenham Festival, we have Long Run pulling away from Denman to win the Gold Cup.

21/5/11-Finally a painting i've not done a lot to is of the front man from the Industrial Metal band 'Rammstein' who has a habit of setting himself on fire on stage, well worth a look if you get the chance.


21/5/11-The next is another acrylic painting showing a scene from World War 1.


21/5/11-Just back from Windsor through work but did manage to get some decent photos which will hopefully turn into some nice pencil drawings or paintings (along with the other hundreds of pics i'm promising myself i'm about to start!). Before that there's three paintings i'm still in the middle of that I want to get finished. The first is an acrylic painting of Ian Curtis, the late singer from the band Joy Division.

9/5/11-A steady away day at The Bobby Robson Charity Fair in Eaglescliffe yesterday but a bit of cash was raised, had my two pictures on display so hopefully they may have caught someones eye and there may be a few more bids. Bids can be placed at www.yarmoriginals.com with all proceeds going to the Bobby Robson Foundation, auctions close on 15th May so get your bids in quick.

1/5/11-Well that's the show at The Parkmore Hotel over with, a very good day with a couple of pieces sold, some money made for charity and some very positive responses. Time to get ready for next week at the Charity Fair at The Eaglescliffe Village Hall, which is in aid of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, so hopefully a successful day for all concerned.

3o/4/11-All set for tomorrow and the exhibition at The Parkmore Hotel in Eaglescliffe, hopefully a successful day for all as i'm hopefully selling a number of items for various charities. There is also two pieces at Yarm Originals website in their online auction in aid of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, so lets hope all goes well for that too.



A new piece has been posted of The Pack Horse Bridge at Allerford in Somerset, a place I visited several times with my family as a child, a beautiful part of the country.
